Ways & Means News

green US dollar signOur first General Meeting of the year included a delicious box lunch (and pie!) from Marie Callender’s and a White Elephant Sale. We made $650 at this meeting through the efforts of Joyce Prizler, Nancy Collinge, and all the ladies who helped setup, clean up, and attended; and the generosity of Karen Turner and Marie Clalender’s. That’s what I call FUNdraising.

Unfortunately, Nancy Collinge has resigned as 2015 Ways & Means Chair. We appreciate the time and energy she gave to the White Elephant Sale, and everything else she does for the Auxiliary.

We will be working as a committee with President Patricia steering until a Ways & Means Chair can be found. We will meet at Connie Sherman’s house on April 27th to decide on the major fundraiser for the year, and to plan several FUNdraising outings including a bus trip for dinner and Christmas lights.

If you have ideas or suggestions, please join us at Connie’s on April 27th, send Patricia a note or email, or call Patricia at 424-263-4642.
