Thrift Shop | November 2015

colorful shopping bagsThe thrift shop receipts totaled $2,013.75 for the month of October.

We are gearing up for the holidays! Our shop is full and needs to be culled out and new items put out for the holidays. Thanksgiving is here and the Christmas holidays are VERY CLOSE BEHIND. We hope to be able to have a few sale days to allow us to put out all of the items we have in storage. IF YOU HAVE ANY ITEMS FOR THE HOLIDAYS THAT YOU WANT TO DONATE – PLEASE DO IT NOW!! We plan to have a few days with a crew to clean out the back storage room. Please consider volunteering to help us. We will send out a notice very soon.

We have been so very fortunate to have so many people coming in with donations. We no sooner clean the sorting room out and a new slew of bags are donated. It is a never ending job and if you have any spare time to help us sort please let Sue or Evelyn know and we will set days to be there for you.
Many, many thanks to all of you who donate extra time to help us keep the shop going and to all of you wonderful ladies that work so hard to keep our shop neat & squeaky clean, far too many for me to list, I hope you know how much your efforts are appreciated. I hear many wonderful things about you ladies from the staff of Toberman and the community. Keep up the good work!!!.

To our very faithful ladies who have been there for us and volunteered so graciously for so many years and are not able to continue, Maxine Peak, Gladys Richardson, Francis Dingman and probably so many others that I do not know about, our most heartfelt gratitude and respect. If you know of others please send them a card and let us know who they are. I have been very remiss in not mentioning those that have passed on and have been a vital part of our organization. I hope to start recognizing their contribution to the efforts of that auxiliary.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving. We do have so much to be grateful for.

God Bless,

Evelyn Morgan
